They protected by forming an impenetrable barrier and corralled her magic inside.

Whatever was pummeling her seemed to have given up. She risked chinking enough of a hole in her warding to send a tendril of magic outward because she needed information. When it came, it terrified her so badly, her heart stuttered. Shanyn Hosier has wrapped up her Desert Menage series, and while I’m sad to say good-bye to these great characters, I’m also excited to read the third book, Wholly Trinity, released today. She’s also releasing a digital-only “box set” of all three books from the trilogy (Nine Dates, Tri Me, and Wholly Trinity) titled “Desert Menage Trilogy”.
